About Us
Camp Cadicasu is a non-profit summer cam and year-round outdoor education centre located in the heart of Kananaskis Country, Alberta, serving children and youth ages 7 to 16 as well as adults and families. Since 1930, Camp Cadicasu has provided a welcoming and supportive environment where everyone can experience the magic of summer, build lasting friendships, and connect with nature.
Guided by a mission to increase confidence, inspire purpose-driven lives, and build resilience, Camp Cadicasu delivers meaningful wilderness-based programming that encourages personal growth, leadership development, and environmental stewardship. Through hands-on outdoor activities, campers develop independence, teamwork skills, and a deeper appreciation for the natural world.
Beyond summer camp, Camp Cadicasu also offers year-round facility rentals for schools, community groups, retreats, and special events — providing a unique wilderness setting to learn, connect, and recharge.
For generations, Camp Cadicasu has remained committed to creating inclusive and transformative experiences that empower all our participants to challenge themselves, discover their strengths, and create lifelong memories in a safe and nurturing community.

A haven situated in the beautiful Rocky Mountains of Alberta, Camp Cadicasu offers summer overnight camps, school field trips, and custom rentals.
Camp Cadicasu was voted the Best Children’s Overnight Camp in 2018, 2019 & 2023 by Calgary’s Child Magazine. We were also named in the Top 5 Traditional Camps as part of the Flight Network’s Top 60 Camps in North America in 2017.
